Open-source software is computer software that is available free of cost at internet any one download  its source code  with a license.
 It's copyright holder provides the rights to study, change, and distribute the software to anyone  for any purpose.
Open-source software is developed in a cooperation public manner.

 Programmers and developers shared software source code  to learn from each other in  field of computing. In 1970-1980  Eric Raymond published The Cathedral and the Bazaar, a reflective analysis of the hacker community a free software. This  paper received in early 1998,after that Netscape Communications Corporation to release their popular Netscape Communicator Internet suite as free software. and other open source code software publish SeaMonkey, Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and KompoZer.

The Open Source Initiative's (OSI) definition is recognized by governments internationally as the standard . In addition, many of the world's largest open source software projects and contributors, including Debian, Drupal Association, FreeBSD Foundation, Linux Foundation, Mozilla Foundation, Wikimedia Foundation, Wordpress Foundation have committed to upholding the OSI's mission and Open Source Definition through the OSI Affiliate Agreement.
