The Aaronic Blessing
"Along these lines you will favor the general population of Israel: you will state to them, The Lord favor you and keep you; the Lord make his face to sparkle upon you and be generous to you; the Lord lift up his face upon you and give you peace"
Following his approval of Ephraim and Manasseh, Jacob favored his twelve children, as recorded in Genesis 49. Matthew Henry remarks on this entry, saying that "we may take the gift to ourselves, as though our names were embedded." Think about it, the Lord our God, the Creator of all that is seen and concealed, tries to favor His kin. Everything great that comes your path originates from His hand, and one day, all in Christ will appreciate the magnificence of His face. Thus, don't question that the Lord wants to favor you and tell others that His approval is accessible to them in Christ.
Aaronic Priesthood
The lesser of the two levels or requests of brotherhood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Aaronic Priesthood is given upon steadfast male individuals from the Church starting at age 12 and each man is appointed independently by the laying on of hands.
