Android-x86 - Porting Android to x86 , you can download an ISO of Android 7.1 ported to run on x86 processors from google websites, like those in Windows machines, which can be installed as the sole operating system on a computer. You may find that you want to run a program that is only available for Windows. The Android ISO may not support all the hardware on your computer meaning you may lose some functionality.By asking this question, it seems to me that you do not have much experience installing operating systems. If you are not careful, you may end up with an unusable computer. there are Android emulators for Windows that allow you to run Android apps on your computer. You will need to use a computer to finish this process which will wipe out all the data on the device. Things you will need to perform hard reset on phone:
A PC with Operating System like Windows / Linux / Mac
A USB cable to connect your phone to the computer
Downloaded file of Android ADB tool
Now, let’s see the steps below to perform a hard reset on your phone using a PC.
Step-1: Enable developer mode on Android
Open your phone settings
Go to ‘About Phone’ section and tap on it
Now, choose the ‘Device Information’ option
You will see the Model Number, Android Version, Hardware Version, Build Number, and other important information about your device. Here, you will need to tap repeatedly on ‘Build Number’ option until you see a message ‘you are now a developer!’ Come back to the main settings menu, and you will see this extra option of “Developer Options.”
Step-2: Enable USB debugging
Now, go to mobile settings again
Open ‘Developer options’ menu
Go to ‘USB DEBUGGING’ option under the ‘Debugging’ section and enable it
Step-3: Install the Android SDK Tools

Make sure that your Windows Device Manager recognizes the mobile.

Method-2: Flash the ROM ROM is a modified version of the Android OS. You can get the latest Android version by getting the new ROM or can get an upgraded and clean version of the current OS on your device. Let’s check the steps for it.
Step-1: Enable Bootloader Many people say that you are not rooting your phone when you flash the ROM. To root an Android device is a different thing. We only manipulate the ROM to get fresh, clear, and convenient Android OS. But, in reality, mostly
the custom ROM comes with the root access to the phone and so you will be doing the rooting of your mobile device when you are customizing the ROM. Unlocking the Bootloader and flashing a custom recovery can have a different process from device to device.
it advisable to search on Google for “Unlock Bootloader in ‘your phone’s model number’” and then “Flash a Custom Recovery in ‘your phone’s model number.’” After that, follow the instructions. Mostly you will see TWRP recovery tutorials.
When you complete this process of unblocking the Bootloader and flash a custom recovery, root your phone. This thing will help you to do the next step easier.
Step-2: Take backup of important data After you have a custom recovery of the device, get the backup of your apps, data, and other files on the system.
Following this step ensures you to get all your data back if you make any mistake while reinstalling the
Operating System.
Restart the device and open the ‘Recovery Mode.’ Mostly with the combination of the power key and volume key at the same time will do the task for every Android device
In the recovery mode, go to the ‘Backup’ section and select the default settings (especially, if you are doing it for the first time). You can also give the name to the backup file if asked. Hit the ‘confirm’ button and run the
backup You will need to wait until the backup is done
If you can/have the Nandroid backup on your phone, then it will be good as it can take the backup of your whole system including the ROM.
Step-3: Download ROM and Flash it
Open your PC browser and look for the best Android ROM for your phone on Google. MIUI, Liquid Smooth ROMS, and CyanogenMod are some of the most popular ROMs out there. Now, Transfer the Zip file to your mobile through USB connection to your PC. You can also directly download it on your Android device using the WiFi connection.
Now, it’s time to flash the ROM:
Reboot your Android device and open the recovery mode
Navigate to the ‘Install ZIP from SD card’ or ‘Install’ section
Select the path of the downloaded/transferred Zip file
Now, wait until the flash process gets finished
If asked, wipe out the data from your phone
When all is done, your phone is ready to restart with the NEW ROM.
Step-4: Install Google Apps
You may know that the Google Applications are not open source and so when you flash the ROM of your Android, you will need to download and reinstall the Google Apps too. As you followed the process of ‘Flash the ROM’ in the above step, download and flash the apps like Google Play Store, Gmail, Hangout, YouTube, etc.
