Preparation Time:30 minutes
Soaking Time:1 to 3 hours
Cooking Time:20 minutes
Total Makes vadas:20 pieces


Ingredients:

1/2 cup Urad Dal or Vellai Ulundu
3 table spoon Rice
1 finely chopped Onion
3 finely chopped green chilli
2 table spoon chopped ginger
1 finely chopped curry leaves
salt as per need
Oil to deep frying  materials
Making Method:
1.Soak Urad dal and rice for 2 to 3 hours.
2.taken both in blender and mix properly and make a very smooth paste.
3.add some little water as you need and make smooth paste.
4.put all materials in a bowl and set aside.
5.Now taken onions,green chilli,ginger,curry leaves and put in bowl and mix well.
6.Take small amount of mixture in your hands.and role a shape like circle.
7.make a small hole in the centre of circle pieces.
8.small circle pieces drop in hot oil.(one time 5 pieces drop in hot oil one by one)
9.Fry this till golden brown and drain in a paper towel.
 you can serve it chutney and sambar.

Tips:
Do not add more water while grinding.
if butter is not enough add small amount of flour or maida and mix well it.
